WHAT KIND A WIRING OF DUMMY LOAD ATTENUATOR
What kind of Dummy Load Attenuator we need to test the biggest Amplifier Output?
The answer is you just using a resistive resistor to make it.
You just need a 4 Ohm resistor with 200 Watts Dissipation of power.
Is there a fixed 4 Ohm resistor with that huge of Power? I think none.
You must try to make by your own way.
This is a wiring of Dummy Load and Audio Attenuator:
An audio signal from your smartphone will amplified with your Power Amplifier. Output Level of your Power Amplifier will deliver to Dummy Load as Voltage to Heat Exchanger.
90% Audio signal will be converted to Heat but 10% will be Deliver to your Loadspeaker.
This means your workspace is quiet because there is an audio level suppression of up to 90%. When the Output signal of your Power Amplifier is 100 Watts, then your speakers will only display 10% of the audio from your Power Amplifier.
HOW TO USE THIS ATTENUATOR DUMMY LOAD
You just connecting this unit between the Output Terminal of your Power Amplifier and the end of Cable of Your Loadspeaker.
